What moves me - between sound, code and presence
I see my work as a researcher and creator in a still young field: the connection between technology and intention – between digital sound design and soulful presence. I am fascinated by how, in the digital age, new spaces are opening in which consciousness, art, and technology resonate with one another.
The central question here: How can depth arise in a world where music, images, or texts are increasingly generated by algorithms? What remains of the "soulful" when works no longer emerge through hand and heart, but through code, plugins, and neural networks? I believe: it depends on inner alignment. On the conscious decision to infuse even digital processes with presence.
Thus, I explore ways in which even so-called "dead technology" – DAWs, AI, samples – can become vessels for intention. I develop prototypes for spaces in which sound fragments are ceremonially activated, where the export of a loop becomes a ritual. The goal is not perfection, but resonance. Not output, but awareness.
Questions that guide me:
- What makes a work of art come alive – beyond its technical creation?
- How can digital music regain a soul?
- What role does intention play in dealing with AI, sampling, or algorithmic composition?
- Is curation a new form of creation?
- What does presence sound like – in a disembodied, digital world?
For me, these questions are not theory but practice. I believe that both analog and digital forms can unfold their potential – if we enter them consciously. If these topics move you too, let us resonate together. Because the next stage of this development does not emerge alone – but through exchange.
